Preparing for a Year-Long Mission
To ensure that every exchange student in District 3510 receives the care and support they need, our district has established a dedicated RYE Committee and places strong emphasis on continuous training and development for its members.
The committee training sessions are both comprehensive and practical. From hands-on case studies to small-group discussions, members are encouraged to examine real-life scenarios from the perspectives of students and host families. To further strengthen preparedness, short assessments are conducted after each session, ensuring that committee members fully understand the guidelines and procedures and are ready to respond effectively when needed.
All of these efforts are made with one clear goal in mind: to enable committee members to provide immediate assistance when exchange students from around the world encounter challenges during their time in Taiwan—whether related to daily life, cultural differences, or unexpected situations. Through thorough training and sincere dedication, we hope that every student who comes to our district can feel at home in Taiwan and embrace it as their second home throughout their exchange journey.
